Secrets Shared is an original textile mixed media artwork created with layered fabric, acrylic paint, and crystals on cradled birch panel. Part of my Quirky Birds series within the Whimsical Companions Collection — characters who exist joyfully on their own terms, built entirely from layered fabric with a personality all their own — this delightfully intimate piece captures the quiet magic of a shared moment, two very different souls leaning toward each other with something important to say.

Two wonderfully expressive bird companions face one another in a moment of conspiratorial closeness — beaks nearly touching, eyes wide with the particular energy of a secret too good to keep. On the left, a rounded pink bird sports a body of soft pink fabric with a beautiful teal and mauve eye-print wing panel — swirling, hypnotic, and full of quiet depth. Wild pink fabric wings curl upward with baroque energy, adorned with a fabric flower embellishment with crystal center in the upper left that adds a jewel-like flourish.
